Monastyrskyi: the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a single fist of Ukraine's internal security are consolidated

The appearance of the "Lublin Triangle" - a three-way format of interaction between Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland, created by the foreign ministers of the three countries in July 2020, aimed at developing contacts in the political, economic and security spheres, is relevant today as never before

It is quite logical that in the context of the crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrskyi, spoke with the initiative of a meeting in the format of the Lublin Triangle, with the participation of the ministers of foreign and internal affairs of the participating countries. "So we will be able to coordinate our actions even faster to counter external challenges," Monastyrskyi commented on his proposal on his Facebook page.

Monastyrski is in constant contact with his colleague, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland, Mariusz Kaminski. "At such critical moments, it is important to show solidarity and support for a friendly state," the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine emphasized.

A coordination group consisting of National Guard servicemen and officers - border guards works at the Polish-Ukrainian border area. Their task includes the exchange of operational and intelligence data between Ukraine and Poland, familiarization with the tactical actions of migrants and the forces that coordinate them. Minister Monastyrsky emphasized that the Ukrainian side is ready to quickly and promptly consider any requests from the Polish side and provide assistance in this crisis situation.

The situation regarding the protection of the state border is under personal control of the head of the Ukrainian police department, Denys Monastyrskyi. "And the efforts of all five structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a single fist of Ukraine's internal security are consolidated - this is our main strength," the minister assured.
